Ultra filtration uses a new hollow fiber filtration technology, combined with a three-stage pre-filtration process to remove impurities from tap water. The ultrafiltration pores are smaller than 0.01 microns, which can thoroughly remove harmful substances such as bacteria, rust, and colloids, while retaining trace elements and minerals beneficial to the human body. Ultrafiltration membrane filtration prevents large molecular solutes from passing through, leaving them on one side of the membrane, thereby partially purifying large molecular substances.
Raw water flows under pressure on the outside or inside of hollow fibers, forming either an external pressure type or internal pressure type. Ultrafiltration is a dynamic filtration process, where retained substances can be removed with the concentrated water, preventing membrane surface clogging, allowing for long-term continuous operation. Ultrafiltration membranes are among the earliest developed polymer separation membranes.
