Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Equipment

The core function of primary reverse osmosis equipment is to remove dissolved salts, colloids, organic matter, microorganisms and other impurities in the raw water through the selective permeability characteristics of the reverse osmosis membrane, and purify the raw water into produced water that meets specific water quality standards. Compared with secondary or multi-stage reverse osmosis equipment, it is characterized by water purification only through single-stage membrane modules, which ensures treatment efficiency while balancing equipment cost and operating energy consumption.

Describe

The principle of operation is based on reverse osmosis technology: the raw water is pretreated and enters the high-pressure pump, where it is transported to the reverse osmosis membrane assembly under the pressure generated by the pump body (usually 1.0-1.5MPa). The reverse osmosis membrane within the membrane module has nanoscale pore size, allowing only water molecules to pass through, while the vast majority of solutes in the raw water (such as calcium ions, magnesium ions, heavy metal ions, bacteria, viruses, etc.) are trapped by the membrane surface. The purified produced water (permeate liquid) is output through the water production pipeline, and the intercepted concentrated water is discharged through the concentrated water pipeline, so as to achieve efficient separation of water and impurities.

Features

This is the core water purification unit of the equipment. High-pressure water flows through these high-pressure membrane housings, and the built-in semi-permeable membranes filter out over 99% of dissolved salts, colloids, and organic matter from the water.
  • High-pressure resistant design: Ensures stable operation under high osmotic pressure.
  • Quick-release clamps: Facilitate the replacement and maintenance of membrane elements.
This module is responsible for monitoring the recovery rate. The left side typically shows the permeate flow meter, and the right side shows the concentrate flow meter. The ratio between the two allows for precise adjustment of the system’s operating efficiency, preventing membrane fouling.
  • Intuitive monitoring: Provides real-time monitoring of the system’s operating status, ensuring that the water production meets the required standards.
  • Precise adjustment: Helps operators quickly optimize water utilization and reduce operating costs.
This is the last line of defense before the water enters the RO membrane. The stainless steel precision filter, with a built-in 5μm filter element, is used to intercept fine particles before they reach the high-pressure pump, protecting the expensive reverse osmosis membrane from physical damage.
  • All stainless steel construction: corrosion-resistant, high compressive strength, and meets hygienic standards.
  • Integrated design: compact structure, small footprint, and convenient for overall transportation and installation.
